Temporary exhibition space in a nearly foreclosed shopping mall in Birmingham, AL. In response to a $10 million public subsidy given to Wal-Mart to replace an empty mall, I proposed a matching grant to take over a dead mall and re-animate it as a living-dead mall. This satirical proposal led to my lease of one empty store within the abandoned mall. The show changed each day to feature a different artist whose works responded to the site.
